FINLEY CREWS RECENTLY CONSTRUCTED A PERVIOUS ASPHALT PLAY AREA AT GLEN FOREST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LOCATED IN FAIRFAX COUNTY

Finley crews recently constructed a pervious asphalt play area at Glen Forest Elementary School located in Fairfax County. Most standard pavements are impervious, which means the water drains off of the pavement into the stormwater drainage system . Pervious pavement is the exact opposite. Pervious pavements capture the stormwater allowing it to seep into the ground and recharge groundwater. This process can also eliminate the need for additional stormwater devices.
